SELF-LOCKING and cartoning machine

Self-locking cartoning machine:

Siscodata has realized a special module that automatically forms self-locking box similar to FEFCO 0713 type. Carton must be of good quality and rigidity, dimensionally correct and constant.

Boxes are manually positioned into a motorized carton silos so to have them in the right position for the picking up through the mechanical gripper with vacuum cups. The bottom part is formed thanks to the closing movement. Box filling can be realized with matrices and layers. The matrix of products arrives on the acetalic shutter chain transport to the picking point from which are taken and inserted in the box waiting in position between the lateral belts. Once the filling has been completed, the boxes are sent to the upper part closing unit. The filled boxes arrive on the conveyor with the 3 upper flaps already in vertical position to the sealer module. Firstly, are closed the 2 short flaps and after the long edge with the small flap folded as "L" in order to be pushed by the sealer device into the lateral side.

Then the box goes to the accumulation exit point for the subsequent palletizing activity that can be automatic.

American carton box machine:

Siscodata has also realized a system, called SIS316, that forms, fills and closes the American box in a very small space. The module works with American-type boxes FEFCO 0204 (of good quality and rigidity, dimensionally correct and constant) that, after having been taken from the silos, are formed and subsequently closed at the bottom with adhesive tape (width 50 mm). The boxes will also have the cardboard corner flaps cut.The module can manage a single box size or more formats and to each box size corresponds one program user license. Moreover, the area includes an automated arm to pick by vacuum/mechanical gripper the matrix and fill up the box, waiting in position layer after layer. Once the layers have been completed, the boxes are sent to the upper part closing unit. The matrix of products arrives on the acetalic shutter chain transport to the picking point from which are taken and inserted in the box waiting in position between the lateral belts. Then the box goes to the accumulation exit point for the subsequent palletizing activity that can be automatic.
The SIS316 productivity is linked to the matrix pieces/layers.

Optional:

at the boxes exit point, on transport, it can be placed a weight-checker unit and a labeling machine;
at the boxes exit, it can be connected an automatic palletizer for EURO pallets (800x1200 mm) or CHEP (1000x1200 mm).
